From Canesport:

“We’ve been practicing with the speakers every day turning it up to the max,” Arroyo said after Friday’s drills. “We’re getting used to that because you know it’s going to be a hostile environment. We’re going to go out there and do our best.”

“Everybody comes in ready to work, ready to learn, with the mindset they have the sky is the limit for all of them,”

Arroyo says what’s stood out from camp is that “There’s so much but the biggest thing is the competition, the way we go out here and work on the field. The offense going at the defense, the defense coming back at us. the intensity of practice, how hard we play.”

From Canesport:

Wes Bissainthe: “We’ve been working really hard,” . “I’m very excited to go out there and let it all on the line, show what we’ve been doing and how hard we’ve been working.”

When asked how the defense can slow down Mertz: “Just watching film and picking up different tendences – he’s a great player,”. “We have great players, they have great players. You just have to go out there and execute.”

“Man, the excitement level is through the roof,”. “Getting down to business, guys are excited, ready to get to work.” *Of the younger LBs, Bissainthe said “They came a long way – I’m excited to see what they are doing.”

From Canesport:

Kiko:

“We have a lot of talent, man. One thing that stood out to me from this defensive line is how deep it is and these guys are willing to put in all the work, lay it all on the line for the defense. These guys are getting in their playbooks, working on staying extra, doing some extra work. I’m excited to play behind these guys and work together to stop offenses.”

“Throughout fall camp it was at a high level of competition, everyone competing at a high level, defense and offense,” Mauigoa said after Miami’s Friday practice. “Now it’s time to shift our focus to our opponent. All that preparation from fall camp going at it with the offense, it prepared us mentally and physically, created a lot of good chemistry between us. Everybody is at the right place, in the right mindset to practice and prepare for the upcoming game and be able to put on a (good) performance.”
