After we whoop NC and if VT wins this weekend, anyone think we have College Gameday at Hardrock Stadium next week against VT? Would be epic!

Lotta big games that week...

Clemson-NC State
Oklahoma-Oklahoma State
Penn State-Michigan State

It depends on next week's scores, but I like our chances.

Also Gameday would be on our campus, not at HRS.

Unlikely, in my opinion. Apparently I read somewhere on this board that ESPN has some issue with the Canes.

I see it more likely if UM beats Vtech they come for the ND game. They'll pump up Catholics vs Convicts all week for ratings. It's much sexier than Vtech.

Why exactly, I keep reading this, but no one can tell me what benefit there would be for Miami?

and as alluded to above ESPN said they would never return to Miami after the VT game back in the day...it was ugly.

Bama vs LSU always gets hyped as well

I think they will go to the Oklahoma-Oklahoma State game. They love Mayfield. However, it depends on if one of them lose this weekend. (Very possible)

Oklahoma-Oklahoma State 3:00 kickoff on FS1 was just announced, so that's one we can scratch off the list.

If NC. State loses to Notre Dame this week, then you can scratch that one off as well.

However, if Penn State beats Taint this weekend, I see their game with Michigan State being selected.

Generally speaking, though, I think our game vs. Notre Dame has a better chance of getting selected because of whole "Catholics vs. Convicts" crap. Also, if both teams take care of business, it would be a battle of two top 10 teams.

There it is right there.

There's also not as many match ups that week. The highest rated match up is OSU and they aren't covering 1 team 4 times in a season. I fully expect UM to be in the top 5 beating UNC and Vtech. UM sure as **** better jump all the 1 loss teams if they beat Vtech.

Whichever scenario ESPN deems necessary to weasel out and not come here, they will. These guys have been to James Madison twice since they last came to a UM home game. And its not like we haven't played any ranked teams at home while we still had a respectable record.

Maybe they will do Gameday on South Beach like they do the Orange Bowl Classic pre- game rambling setup.

No kids in the background. Just the Hotels and Night clubs .

I don't want game day coming to Miami until we prove we can keep them there.

Our matchup with Notre Dame is on NBC. So it’s goinf to be the VaTech or bust for Gameday. I believe the last time we actually had Gameday was against Vick in 2002.

It will be on the ESPN/ABC/ Disney family of networks.
NBC only has the rights to ND home games.
