I’m not going into obvious negatives like we lost or got blown out etc.
Negatives
- very poor tackling all game. Lots of arm tackles that missed.
- Scaife looked bad
- reliance on seniority - especially defense
- DTs (especially Nesta) did not look good
- there were some questionable calls favoring Alabama. Especially on the play at the 1 where McCloud was just blatantly held. But they were already up big.
- Bolden targeting was targeting but should not have been an ejection. It was impossible to hit the guy with shoulder bases on the guy was going to the ground.
- no burn for LT
- Harley getting pinballed
Positives
+ Cave looked good - #11
+ Kinchens and Williams got burn - kinchens a lot.
+ we lived in their backfield quite a bit
+ Hedley/Borregales
+ Restrepo
+ Both smiths (offense and defense)
