Positive Thought: The Season is not over

Here we are back trying to pull a positive and negative from each weeks game. It was very difficult for me to find a positive but I am going to try to make chicken salad. Kaaya looked good, for a true freshman (but I've been fooled before, Kyle Wright vs FSU). No matter how upset you are, the D did look better. (but I've been fooled before, Florida last year)

But I am going with, the season is not over. Yea, we looked like garbage for a while. But I saw some things that lead me to believe we can do better.

The schedule sets up nicely for us. We have two cupcakes the next two weeks to work on things that were exposed against UL, then we go to Nebraska. Even if that game is a loss it doesn't matter and doesn't effect our goal of winning the coastal. If we lose we hopefully will learn a few more things and be ready for the stretch run. If by a miracle we win, all of a sudden we are hot heading into the stretch.

We have Duke and GT back to back after Nebraska. Those are two games we must win. Lose and we lose the team. Win and all of a sudden we are playing VT on Thursday night in a game that could decide the Coastal.

As hard as it is for me to admit, I have given up on this staff. I just hope they start winning by talent and dumb luck. But I am not going to go crazy and start flying a banner after one game. We have a slim chance to make something of this season and I want to see it happen. We can still lose one more ACC game and probably win the Coastal. (its that bad and that even)

Like I said, there were not many positives, but it is something.

If Miami played Alabama and you switched the coaching staffs then Miami would win the game.

Man somethings got to give im all cane and will always be but Jesus Christ can we please stop the bleeding. At this point if we cant win with them id rather just clean house.

We need to beat every opponent in the coastal to win it, something we've never done, and hope the other teams lose at least 2 games. It's a bleak outlook.

No, the positive would be if that was the last game of the season. We'd be getting off light. As it stands, we have several more months of fearing which two bit program is going to drag their sweaty nuts across our faces. Worrying about Arkansas St. running it up while their HC gets topped off by Kelly Golden is a legit possibility. After that it's going to be, "Oh wow, what new and horrifying way will this team find to embarrass a once proud program and provide LULZ to the nation that already hates us?"

If yesterday was the last game of the season, it was a bullet in the head. Instead it's actually just the first day in ISIS captivity.

More positive thoughts: The new walk-on punter played pretty well, and Al's tie didn't get wrinkled. We're playing in A&TT Stadium January 12th for sure!!!!
