As usual some garbage but Bandy made a comment about targeting I absolutely agree with. He thinks an offensive player should be called for targeting when he lowers his head at last second and cause the helmet contact by doing so. No way defensive player can change his trajectory when he has already launched himself for the tackle

Making excuses for carter is not a good look

No excuses. Offensive players initiate the contact every single time the lower their head for contact. Running backs do it all the time. Only once have i seen it called on them and that was Zeeke for Dallas. Never in college.
If he says Carter is an idiot, the board response is the bar tender throws his players under the bus....

love the nimbleness of the board to adjust their hate on the fly... message board RPO type ****

If Carter doesn't lower his head every time, he's not getting tossed. Tackle with your face up. No one else seems to have this constant problem.

Grades on championship routes.... oh so catching the freaking ball isn't the #1, #2, and #3 reasons for getting on the field.

Routes are great but if you have brick hands it won't matter. I'd rank it Catching, Blocking, knowing Assignments, then route running

Carter has gotten hosed in the past, but the refs got it right on this call. There was no need for him to lower his head to lay some wood on the receiver. I recorded the game and replayed it from several angles on Sunday trying to figure out what he was trying to do, he could have broken him in half without lowering his head.

Two opposing views can be both true at the same time. While the targeting rule is biased towards the offense and nearly impossible to avoid at times by defenders on any given play, certain players do have a propensity to break the rules than others.
