Point spread fact

What's funny is before the game I said I hadn't been as confident against FSU since 2002. Man, this game was eerily similar.

Yes, I mentioned that in the stands on Saturday. Maybe I forgot to post it here. Pointspread was almost identical, closing at -13 after rising to -14 at one point.

Major difference was we were pushed around in the trenches in that 2002 game, allowing nearly 300 yards rushing.

I never understood how people thought we would toy with Ohio State and Clarett, after so many examples during 2002 of surrendering high rushing yardage, like the Florida State, West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech games. The Buckeyes were an absolute nightmare blue collar opponent, the only team I feared all season. We would have mauled the more uptempo foes like USC or Georgia.

Back in the early 90s we used to say that every year fsu thinks they're the best, but we know we're the best. They've pretty much never beaten us when we were any good which is why I can't truly hate them. I strongly dislike the fck out of those btches, but I don't hate them.

Hate is a bad feeling to have... instead say you despise, loath, detest, etc.

Same type of game. Was at that 2002 game and we came back from the depths of **** that day too. We just had the pleasure of a wide left in that game to seal it.

We beat ourselves against OSU. We had 5 turnovers and if I recall correctly 4 were in our own territory. Both of their touchdowns in regulation were on drives of less than 40 yards. You’ll struggle against Northwestern Montana Tech with that many turnovers.

Heck one TD came off the Taylor int, and he was 'stripped' of the ball as he went out of bounds. If he downs it in the end zone, they probably don't score again the rest of the game.
