Anyone else notice that we don't run slants with our receivers and counters with our backs? Fisch used to run them both and extremely well too.....

We did run counters last year with Dallas Crawford. I remember the game winning drive against UNC was nothing but the same counter over and over.
 
RB screens.

Didn't run enough during the first half of the season. Didn't run them well in the second half.
 
Another thing we don't run (not offensively) is any kind of blitz package no pressure on opposing QB or HB
 
on D, we sure as **** don't run any plays designed to stop the opponents' complex offensive strategy of "run the ball right at us 50 times a game"

You would think that at half time we make adjustments, looking at these teams that are throwing the ball 4-7 times a half and rushing for 250yrds lol

We threw 3-4 slants to Coley last week vs Pitt. Not a huge fan of some of our route trees at times, it was better then last year though.
 
Zero innovative plays especially when losing and in need of a game changing play, I.e. Fake punts, fgs, and no onside kicks especially when all your kick offs are being returned to the 50, might as well at that point
 
It's situational coaching that this staff is atrocious at, they paint everything with broad strokes, and don't adjust by specific situ as, I.e. I know everyone hates the bubble screens but we gashed Pitt with it last year(and reverse as we'll) and we dint run anything like that against them this year, it's like they do the same thing against everyone
