Hey Canes! Who is going to the playoff game?! Lets coordinate travel plans and share knowledge so we can have the best time possible!

Has anyone been to A&M before? Best places to stay? Rental car needed? Getting to the game, etc... Yall know the drill lets make this playoff trip elite!

Went in 2022.

In the middle of nowhere. You 100% need a rental car or a pre-booking of a transfer service (there were a few we saw and looked into but probably full of A&M fans - they're extremely nice but very awkward mostly)

We chose to stay towards closer to Houston and looked into Austin as well and drive an hour-hour and a half.

I'm guessing I won't make this trip. 2 small kids around Christmas won't let it happen.

We had a random airbnb near Pinehurst Tx. It was fine. Straight shot to College Station

We parked at a mall a mile or so away and rode in the bed of a random Canes fans truck with a U flag in the back over to the stadium where they parked.
 
Not going to TAMU.

Gonna try to make it to the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Eve against Ohio State. Jerry's World is on my stadium bucket list.
 
Planning on going to College Station but waiting till Wednesday's UM ticket distribution email to finalize plans. Have an AIrBnB reserved though.

I’m from Texas but not wanting to pay the price tag I’m seeing for tickets. I’m not in college station but spent a lot of time there, my only suggestion would be the Toasted Yolk for breakfast. If anyone sells any tickets hmu though.
 
Fly into Austin or Houston and get a rental.

If you want to stay near College Station, you are better off staying at an Airbnb. Good hotels are booked, otherwise very expensive or a **** hotel.

We are staying in Austin on Friday and driving into College Station in the morning
 
I’m doing Houston. Fly in Friday, grab a rental car early Saturday morning and drive in. Will drive back after the game. Will just grab a Marriott somewhere near the Houston airport
