New Top 100 Miami quarterback Peter Bourque was almost perfect in the full game I saw him in today. In fact, the Marion (Mass.) Tabor Academy led a scoring drive every single time his team had the ball. Bourque was poised in the pocket, accurate and had a couple of beautiful deep balls. Bourque is listed at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds but appears to be over 200 pounds. He’s very well-built in both halves and is a thicker pocket passer who is a legitimate threat with his legs when he has pads on. There is a lot to like about what Bourque can become at the next level. He brings both a high floor and a high ceiling. Miami obviously has a talented 2027 quarterback board, and Bourque is right up there in terms of pure talent.
*** Top 100 Marion (Mass.) Tabor Academy quarterback Peter Bourque told me that he plans to visit Miami on April 11. A former Michigan commit, Bourque just notched an offer from the Hurricanes this week and is already building a good connection with offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson. Bourque actually grew up in a family full of Miami fans, has a cousin who was a cheerleader for the Hurricanes last season and has grandparents who live in Florida. Penn State is considered the favorite here, but Miami has a chance to make a real move.
