What a year! If you would’ve told me this was how we finished I’d sign up immediately. Sucks we lost but we’ve arrived.
This board and many of you who contribute has gotten me through the hardest year of my life. I lost my home to the fires in the Palisades and my beautiful wife passed away at 42 this summer. Losing her put a lot of things in perspective and what matters most in life. Spending hours of my day on this board allowed me to escape my new normal - a normal I don’t want to be in.
I got to take my 14 year old son to the Fiesta Bowl and NC tonight. Memories are all we have. There is nothing better than I got to be with my son and family at the games. It’s been a long time since we were able to experience this and yeah I wish we won, but I will never forget being there with people I love. I’m glad he got to experience what I often did as a child of the 80’s and 90’s with Miami. I think this was 5th NC Game I’ve been too.
Thank you to everyone because it’s great being around Hurricane fans even if we disagree - we all love our team and man it feels so good to be back.
