what to say about this... First off I hope he hires a proven DEFENSIVE coordinator

He's already going to go after a hyper aggressive O coordinator, I feel that's a given.
Hopefully this guy still feels from the season what the offense did to him, and takes his WRATH out on the O staff and fires EVERYONE

I'm not gonna lie, this is an underwhelming hire considering who is out there.. but I can't be mad at it too much. Diaz is a hyper aggressive coach that completely gets miami. The players absolutely love this guy, so MAYBE the recruiting will pick up based on the fact that richt isn't on the other side of the ball alone.
Let's look on the bright side, we have a ton of money to put together a top notch staff.
