So, why not pay ***'t top dollars, which would allow a hired Butch Davis to throw an larger net all the way in the NFL, in addition to NCAA coordinators. In five years or more, after having competed in the playoffs a couple of times, and winning the NC once, one of those top ***'t would be groomed for the top job and get it after Butch retirement. Then we move Butch Davis, an expert at finding the best coaches, to move up to Director of Athletics.
We'd still have to pay top $$ for ***'ts anyway if we hired a UM Head Coach who is experienced and established with a salary around $4,OOO,OO
o+ who also won't come cheap to give up where they are to come down here :
