pat narduzzi film session..

After seeing that, I'm rooting for the Philly Eagles to lose every game. I'm a convert, and I want Chip Kelly.

Bang-up job by Narduzzi's defense yesterday. Funny how that defense loks when they're not playing against garbage Big 10 teams and slow *** Stanford.

Clueless is as clueless does... you may want to read up on the Stanford/Oregon rivalry from last year. Slow, you guys try way to hard to disprove a known good DC for the sake of building up the worst DC the canes have ever seen.

I'm confident that Narduzzi is better than D'Onofrio, but it does concern me that he does his work against the Big Ten when we are looking for him to be the answer to our problem.

I disagree, man. Narduzzi's film session will go just fine because his job as a defensive coordinator isn't to make miracles. It's to do more (in terms of unit production) with less (talent). In modern football, offenses are going to move the ball and eventually score points. What you're looking for from a coordinator or coach is whether or not he creates schemes and strategy that make his players look better as a whole.

Narduzzi has had Michigan St. ranked in the top 6 nationally in total defense the last 3 seasons.

He'd still be an upgrade over Golden/Donofrio IMO.

That is my concern --- an upgrade over Golden/D'Onofrio isn't a high hurdle. We want someone that will win National Championships. We constantly mock Golden for playing Big Ten football. Will Narduzzi's schemes and strategy translate beyond that ****** league and get us Playoff level?

If the answer is not yes, then I think we need to look elsewhere.
