Let's be honest, people were second guessing the hire from the get go.
It's not that Manny is a bad candidate (he absolutely should have been considered, given what he did to the Defense in just 3 years), but it was the lack of interviewing other candidates. You don't run a business like that, so why is Miami doing that?
And don't blame Manny, he played it smart and was going after his dream job. But to allow Manny to leverage Temple over us just screams amateurism from Blake. Especially when you consider choosing a FB coach is THE MOST IMPORTANT decision AD will make. If Manny really was the best candidate after a decent search that lasted 7-14 days, you know 100% he still would have come here and left Temple.
