When Richt came aboard he brought in some guys with good coaching reputations in Searles & Kool.

He also brought in some guys who had performed well as a COACH at a major FBS program in Dugans, Hartley, & Brown.

No surprise its Richt JR, Rumph & Banda, guys in their first official coaching position that arent pulling their weight.

10th coach can't be Patke. Needs to be an experienced coach & proven recruiter.

So, by "not pulling their weight" you mean both? You have some special insight into the coaching of these guys, cuz Rumph looks like a good coach on that score.

Nope. Dont overate Rumph. Colbert & Corn who benefitted from the scheme change and increased pressure more than anything else. Malek Young is very talented and only played OK. Jacksons got one good year.

Rumph is a mediocre coach and terrible recruiter.

How is Banda not pullin his weight? He got Amari Carter last year and got Frierson and Hall this year

Nope. Dont overate Rumph. Colbert & Corn who benefitted from the scheme change and increased pressure more than anything else. Malek Young is very talented and only played OK. Jacksons got one good year.

Jackson has one good year because he was developed from trash. Colbert was horrible for several years and is now playing NFL ball. When old guys are playing better than ever and young guys re producing then your coach is doing a great job.

The AH snub was about respect for coaching abilities, Surtain Sr. doesn't respect Rumph's coaching abilities. He's coached with the man for years so this was about lack of respect that he can coach up his kid(s).

It was the kids decision to play for Nick Saban and his 6 NCs and who he thought was going to get him to the league. Also, the kid believes he will fet multiple chances to olay for a National Championship. Do I like it ? No - but stop with the crying and conspiracy theories. It ain’t that difficult

and sorry its not difficult for me to understand why some 5* S.Fla kids would chose to go to the two teams that played in the NC or some others instead of us.

That has nothing to do with any other coach's recruiting ability ....its more about current national exposure, current NC potential, and $$$.

Its not a new thing that we don't get ALL of the S.FL area's 5*s in the most heavily recruited area in the nation.

We NEVER have gotten them ALL in the past ( even when undefeated) and most probably NEVER WILL ...Fact is EVERYONE recruits here, most with larger recruiting resources than we have and let's face it ..all recruits don't want to stay home.
