unless a new president cares about football, it doesn't matter.

I'm sure Al wants to win, but he is simply incapable. Our AD is a useless nothing. Change has to come from leadership at the top. It's not there. The school wants to be an academic institution. Football will die out in 50 years anyway. Bye

Yup. A bunch of delusional, apathetic elitist are running our school.

It's over. They have no concept of what Miami is and can be. Only their distorted perception of it.
 
It's not just the athletic department that totally sucks. This med school mess is just inexcusable, and the academic rating is now back at Jorts U and Ped State U level. Someone needs to totally clean house top to bottom at this school. Since our BOT is filled with clueless fat cats and trust fund babies, I don't trust them to appoint anyone with the stones to hire a strong leader who will kick ###es and take names all over this mess in Coral Gables.

Isn't Kosar on the board? He's one of my all time favorites, but the man's life is a mess. Having someone like that sitting clueless and inebriated at board meetings just shows you where this bunch is right now.

Don't be raining on Kosar for this mess. He has forgotten more about football then you would ever know. He just doesn't have the clout as the money makers do.
 
warren sapp was right never should of never left the big east cuz o boy knew they wasn't bout that football life up top.

Miami will never be "dead" unless the program is dropped or suffers the death penalty for more violations. I remember when I used to go to Tennessee games and they would play Alabama (they were pathetic) and we would make fun of how bad they were, and now look at them. Miami is too close to too much talent. All it's going to take is making the right hire at head coach to jump start it all. Sad to say that everyone sees how easy it is when Butch Davis keeps saying he would love to coach Miami again and he's the perfect fit for the job. We might seem dead but it all starts with whoever is making the coaching hires, they wanted to look like they were smart by hiring Al before anyone else thinking he was the next big time coach, and that plan backfired in their face.
 
Time to cryo freeze UM football and put it on a shelf next to Ted Williams's oozing head. Accept that it's dead, freeze it, and hope for a cure in a few years.
 
These losers managed to recruit a team with top ten type talent......maybe even top 5.
We will always be a sleeping giant. Just takes a decent not even great coaching staff to win big!
