If you have to max protect against drop 8 3 man rush, your oline might not be as good as you think..

Them 3 man routes getting smothered with 8 defenders..

and on 4th down with 1 yard..

Not really. It’s common to get home while rushing 3 because of coverage if your QB can’t run
