OU hires Alex Grinch as DC

Might want to read other boards. OSU guys hated him and Schiano — one of their worst defenses this year.

Not really alot were indifferent on him others hated him because they felt he also played a role in how bad the defense was because their S play regressed. Even worse they say he's a horrible recruiter the only kid he's supposedly brought in for them is a 3 star athlete thats why they at least tolerate Chimp boy for the time being.

Who is "they?" OU has unlimited resources, guess what, THEY hired him. Lucky Lincoln didn't read that O$U message board!

And OSU has unlimited resources and THEY chose not to make him the DC even though he was already on their staff and they could have scapegoated Chimp boy for the entire mess on defense.

Saban will get out soon, Bama is the only premier program with a dude in his mid 60s running the show. It's a young guys game, look at Bob Stoops and Urban, both out. That being said, Lincoln Riley is a star.

Let me give you a free lesson in O$U football. Greg Schiano was named DC at tO$U in 2015. That same year, Alex Grinch became DC at Wazzou. Grinch then came to O$U in 2018 and was named Co DC. This was a rebuilding year for the Buckeyes defense, it happens in this business. They also lost the #1 player in the upcoming NFL Draft early in this season. Go back to reading O$U messageboards for more info!
