What if none of the QBs transfer and they become motivated to work harder and compete? The King transfer could be more beneficial than anyone is thinking as he could bridge us to the next QB and we could have a real QB room with a mature bunch that work hard and study hard.

at a minimum I don’t think any QB transfers till after Spring and I could conceivably see Williams mature and become motivated to win the job back his junior year.

That would take a helluva lot of maturity when you came in expecting things to be handed to you. Then you get them handed to you only for you not to take it seriously. Now being told you will have to basically sit a year or transfer.

Does that QB handle being 2nd, possibly 3rd string well? Only time will tell. Personally, I don't think he (15) does. I'd be shocked if he stuck around past spring.

After seeing Tate's throwing "improvement" under Enos' tutelage, I'm inclined to think Jarren has the potential to be a much better player than we might think.

Maybe QB PLAN

Be careful writing Jarren Williams off entirely.
respectfully i’m good. he’s proved himself to be a talented kid with a million dollar arm and a ten cent head. after he went awol and continued to lead with drama, i lost whatever hope i had of him becoming a quarterback. he’s not mentally strong enough to play football at this level. just my opinion. he’s a nice kid, but he’s not a quarterback.

"Become motivated"...."work harder"..... you are placing a tall order in front of the ranking members of our QB room...

The only one of the 2019 group that has shown me over the last 12mos some growth and maturity is Kosi. I feel like he has grown up before our eyes could absolutely see him staying around and continuing working hard even if he knows he's likely only to serve as a backup. Tate and Jarren? **** no. Theyll both be gone by week 1 if they think they have no chance of starting.

Get your point, for sure, but "million dollar arm"? I never saw that from JW. Nice touch at times, but relatively weak arm IMO.
