OT: Winbush to transfer after CFP

Winbush is an experienced body. He isn't a strong passer, but his athletic ability makes him an upgrade over Perry and Rosier at this point. Miami needs bodies in the QB room, and maturity is another trait in short supply. Winbush would help in both areas. That said, I'd love to see Miami go after a better passer in the GT market.

Yes, winbush can’t throw at all.

Winbush
In 2017
49% 1863 16 tds 6 ints 140 rushes 800 yards 14tds

Rosier
In 2017
54% 3120 26 tds 14 ints 462 rushing yards 5 tds

Richt must be drooling at the thought of getting another Rosier. He is probably thinking of all the good work his son will do with him. I’ll be the first to say it, if he comes to Miami he will complete 51% of his passes and that will be a feather in Jon’s cap. Interceptions will go up but we will also be able to add 2 new plays to our playbook bringing us up to 10 plays we can run at any time.

Winbush is terrible. He's not a program changer. I'd rather experience growing pains with a younger more talented QB to benefit long term.

Faced defenses of Georgia, Stanford, Miami

Would love to see Rosier's stats against those defenses.....well we kind of did against Clemson/Wisconsin
