RIP Brig. General Charles Elwood (Chuck) Yeager! My condolences to his wife Ms. Victoria Scott D'Angelo as well as to his sons (Susan, Don, Mickey and Sharon), and the rest of the family. In addition to serving meritoriously during WWII, he was also the winner of many awards, decorations, campaign & service medals, badge, and the Congressional Silver medal. Among his many feats are the breaking of the sound barrier October 14, 1947 in the Bell X-1.
