OT: Rewarding young men with a necklace when they preform well at volunteer sports may be sending the wrong message to our children.

Let's extend the logic along the lines of OP's profound question:

Could it be consider child abuse making young men wear a backpack for the same reason (if ever they actually perform well)?

Post is much ado about nothing! There are more pressing problems in the world than wearing bling and what not.

Would rather save the necklace for kids when they give a great proformance instead of a great preformance. Why teach kids to settle for less?

I think your right op.
After the game most of them sell it and then spend it on stupid stuff.
Oh wait I forgot. They don’t keep the chain you dumb ***. It’s an expensive prop that’s all.
They only wear it for a few minutes.
We should just start not giving any trophies or medals even at peewee.
That’s also volunteer athletics. Don’t give any kid anything even if they win. Not even ice cream.
Tell those kids to keep it real frontier 1800’s.
You can tell them that my great great geanpa didn’t get a medal for homesteading 300 acres building a farm and hearding cows so why do you want a medal or a trophy for winning. Shiny things are for girls and faquits!!

Other than Cane Dynasty’s YMCA matt drill and Whoop’s insider PM the shtick thing is played. The rest of you pikers are trying to hard. That is all...

Go Canes!

Did they not give Sebastian his pipe because smoking is bad now? Sebastian without his pipe is like Mr. Peanut without his monocle.
