Who gets fired or moves on once the regular season wraps up in a couple of weeks?

We already know Petrino is out and Louisville is going after Brohm. I've read message board fodder that Clay Helton will be out at USC and they are looking at Jack Del Rio. Anyone else getting the boot?

The wildest part about coaching vacancies is that so many marginal/bad/average coaches received extensions and raises last year because Tennessee screwed up the Schiano hire - Though Pruitt looks to be moving them in the right direction.

That turnaround won't be easy. How long do you think it will take?

I think it's too early to tell yet about UTK. I've lived 120 miles from them for 35 years. They've got deep pockets but I've never heard of them being in the bag game. Over 80% of their roster is from OOS. They'll poach a few 4* from surrounding states and sprinkle in a 5* here and there. They seem to be excited about Pruitt but they were excited about Botch Jones as well.

Del Rio's name comes up every time the USC job opens. He alway says he's an NFL guy. Maybe this time is different? He's had two chances at NFL HC jobs, fired from both. Would someone give him a third chance? USC might appeal to him if he wants to be a HC.

He is being paid by the Raiders for this season and the next two. No reason to work.

The Raiders firing Del Rio, bringing in Gruden, and giving him that ridiculous $100M guaranteed contract was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen. I knew it was a bad hire and now I am laughing at the misfortune.

Looks like Colorado will let go of MacIntyre at the end of the season.

I think he's a pretty good coach. Colorado just has delusions of being a national power based on a fairly brief run 30 years ago. They should be happy with 7-9ish wins per year and a decent bowl game. Problem is the last two seasons are likely to give them about 6ish wins per.

Tough job.

I thought the dollar amount is laughable. I want to see what Gruden does in the off-season with the number 1 draft picks.

Extremely tough job. You basically get scraps from cali and TX.

If you look closely over the last month, Vols are trending up. Even Huskers beginning to get better. I hate to say it, but we are as down trending as anyone this last month.

Don't think there is any question we are trending down more than about anyone, largely based on what people projected relative to last year.

And the fact that we are clearly underperforming this year, regardless of last year.
