Dang I was thinking Kane got some time under Bill Clark at Jacksonville State and his first stint at USA. Guess he came in a few years later at both. Just missed each other a few years at both stops.

Jay is an old school coach from back in the early Barry Alvarez days at Wisconsin in the early 90’s, then was with Dan McCarney at ISU, then to the NFL with Jim Mora SR with the Colts, then to the Raiders with Bill Callahan, then followed Callahan to Nebraska, then wound up with Stoops at Oklahoma for 7 years & was with Charlie Strong for a year at Texas before Strong got fired, then finally after having to wait for a long got the HC job at Nevada & has them playing at a high level with their QB Carson Strong who’s gonna be a 1st round draft pick.

He’s an older coach I think 56 or 57, but he’s kinda like the less charismatic version of Herm Edwards lol
