I was there vs Duke last year. Rained, the goal posts were crooked, i was more intimidated by the L train up to Evansville than the fans. But being literally against the water was wild. Haunting.

In my hypothetical world where we actually have our own stadium someday what I’d like to have is 45-50k capacity and have the seating and acoustics as close as possible to the action. Think Cameron Indoor but the CFB version.

I will try to make it to a game there. I have never been to a NW game much less a home game. I have been to a Bears game in old and new Soldier Field. I also went to the Canes/ND game there. I have been in there with heavy snow and the lake effect wind chill where this Florida boy only had his eyeballs exposed and idiots were out their shirtless. That stadium looks nice.
 
Being that I live near both SoFi & Intuit Dome, I love that they took both concepts & integrated it into the final model/construction. Where Intuit Dome is located, it literally used to be a Church’s Fried Chicken & 3 apartment complexes. Surrounding business started selling for parking when they saw the cash profit.

SoFi was a vacant land surround by part commercial, part residential. When I went to SoFi, it’s really hard to conceptualize; it appears small on the outside, but its interior design is spacious & big AF. In my head I’m like no way this tiny *** stadium can fit 75k+ in here, & then I was like Holy-**** this mutha fcka is huggggge! (Pause).

It’s quite the architectural phenomenon. My goal is to visit as many arenas, stadiums as possible next yr, but SoFi is something, from a design standpoint, I’ve never experienced.

Love the attention, but as a Northwestern alum, I am duty bound to point out it is NU, not NW. (And I gotta add - it's great as a student to be able to walk to games.)

It's impressive....screens feel like big tvs in your living room...

I think I will make trip to NWr's field when it opens...

we gonna eminent domain Kendall + Coral Gables...easy on campus stadium for our Miami Hurricanes.
