Gophers WR Rashod Bateman opted out of junior season. He was projected by many to be a first round talent for the next draft. As a true freshman in 2018 he had 51 receptions for 704 yards and as a sophomore he had 60 for 1219 yards.

I'm worried about Greg sitting out. He's a lock for the first round as of right now. I really don't see a reason to risk injury by playing this season for any player with 1st or 2nd round potential.

This is crazy, unfortunately, I think it'll keep happening. Once some start withdrawing from the season, so many others will as well.

hes NOt a lock if he doesnt play this year. so All possible first rounders should sit every year? because there is no Special, increased risk of injury this year...the Virus is the only thing different this year

It's gonna be a very interesting NFL draft. I'm curious to see if those who opt out end up penalized come selection time.
NFL don't care if you opt out. Just make sure you've enough on tape (at least two good years) and show out at the Combine. The best trait in the NFL is availability.

Maybe you should be a Tampa bay vipers fan then, instead of a cane fan...pure Stupidity is a canes fan saying they want college football replaced by the XFL

or seeing that its unfair for these athletes to not see a dime of what they have rightfully earned while everyone else profits off of them

All projected 1st and 2nd rounders in the upcoming draft should opt out. You’d have to be crazy to play this season.

If Greg Rousseau were anywhere near smart he’d be setting up a press conference to announce his decision to sit right now, today
