You got it twisted. Rick isn't Taggart, he's Buck Showalter. He's not winning a championship, but the team will be stocked with very good (though probably not elite) talent at most positions. Once he leaves, an innovative HC comes in and makes it to the championship game.
As it stands, the team is good enough to win the ACC coastal every year (except for this year, looks to me like the team took a big step back from last year and we aren't winning in Blacksburg against a good team wanting payback). FSU will always have to go through Clemson, and will lose every time, so won't sniff a division title. We have to take on Clemson as well but it will be in the ACC championship game. Takes a little luck and one dynamic qb. I personally think that qb is already on the roster. Then who knows, we might get a favorable match up in the playoffs like Alabama-Oklahoma Miami - Washington.
