and of course they picked 4 losses for us out of those 6.
One of the things that made us exciting is that we would lose the ocasional game if the other team played over their heads and our guys were hungover. Most of FSU "great games" were all those loses to us. My issue is our first title game was the greatest ever. NE was profound favorite and nobody gave us a chance. Then the game was a completely atypical upset: NE did not play bad, if fact they came back twice like a true champion. From our side, the upstart would normally have folded once the great favorite got back to even. We did not. Pulled back in front oly to have Huskers catch us again. then fantastic two last plays -- one each. The OUvNE game they have as number one was merely the two best teams playing great rivalry game for title. Many of our FSU games could be considered greatest by that standard.

Even though we lost on the scoreboard, the Fiesta against OSU should be higher. Double OT, national championship game, etc.

Berlin's comeback against UF, not sure if it's on there, but what a game.

Texas and USC was about as exciting as it gets and only #7. That game was insane.

Obviously this is entirely subjective, but how is the Flutie game in top 700?? It was a meaningless game b/w 2 average teams that didnt affect the NC in ANY way? Plus it was just one lucky play, not a series of great plays. It infuriates me when that play is shown not so much bc we lost but the sheer irrelevance of it all.

Was at that game. Should be in top 3

This was an interesting list. Brought me back in time for some good games.

And no 91 Cotton Bowl at all. It's like they knew they had to include Miami, so they looked for losses.

ESPN sucks.

Exactly. That and the Maryland game are just there as anti-Cane fake news. Now, if they are talking most often "shown of TV" plays then it is that frigging Flutie thing.

Not to mention one of the wins was just a write up on how heroic Nebraska was.
Yeah. Almost wish they had made it. Kosar always said he had plenty of time to march field for field and the next year proved it in Tampa against the swamp scum.

Mostly stupid list, as usual.

Is the Boise state win over Oklahoma on there? I can’t be bothered to look again.

Every time I see that little rat, I want to choke him!
