Speedy Pope and the Dez Bryant clone Ezzard will be an excellent addition to the WR position. Both bring a different skill set, speed and strength, every wr corp needs. May spell lot less time for guys like Harris and Langham. Also got Njoku coming back too.

I like in his heat a 22.12--200m in to a -2.5 meters per second head wind in the preliminaries using the USTAFF formula that in a 21.86 with no wind. If he had the first heats head wind 21.99. Guy's best is 21.60 if conditions right could be a 21.5 or better in the final.

His 100m into a -2.3 mps headwind equates to a 10.78 in no wind.

Sophomore Xzavier Henderson (Columbus) ties for first in the High Jump but looses on the count back at 6'-3.5" and the qualifies for the 400m finals with a 48.40 - 4th fastest qualifying time.

I really wish they would eliminate “National elite” or make more categories because it’s to the point of meaninglessness. It lessens the meaning of elite. I realize that you know this but the difference between a 51’ shot putter and a 71’ is galactic; the same with a 50.00 and a 45.00 over 400m and the list goes on.

Elite to me...(off the top of my head) would be top 10 or 12 nationally - maybe 16

100m - 10.50
200m - 21.00
400m - 47.00
110h - 14.00
300h - 37.50
SP - 60+

Not many kids are running below those times.

I would adjust those times to

10.7
21.5
48
1:54 - 800
4:15 - 1600
43:00 - 4X100
3:17 - 4x400
