Sorry if KW2UM...Apparently Chad Kelly (Jim's nephew) had to be escorted by police from Clemson's spring game for getting in an argument with coaches. I remember hearing he was a head case when he was being recruited. I guess our QB situation could always be worse...

I remember a lot of fans were upset we didn't go after him hard or maybe even offer him. Sometimes coaches have good reasons beyond the field. Even the best recruiting sites show 30% of the picture coaches know.

Our coaches get ripped for not reeling in big name 4star and 5 star recruits, and while you can't get them all, I think they bypass many because of attitude.

Duke and Tracy are not the norm for 5 stars. Most seem to be prima donnas.
Remember Latwan Anderson?

This Chad Kelly seems to be an absolute prick. The exact opposite of Jim Kelly, who was the ultimate team leader.

Next time you bash our coaches for not going hard up after some 5 star you've never met or talked to, think about team chemistry, and how a couple of entitled divas can just Fuuck up the character of your whole team.

Most Canes did not want anything to do with Kelly. There is always a few but the majority knew this would be the result with that kid.

Never a good idea to go HAM on Chad Morris/staff who is/was the highest paid assistant coach in all of college football.
 
Kids today. I actually watched a good portion of the Clemson spring game on ESPN. Maybe Kelly was having a bad day, but in the short sequence of plays I saw he threw back to back INTs and repeatedly threw the ball up for grabs. At the time I didn't realize he was Jim's nephew - I lost track of him after Canes stopped talking about him here on CIS.
