Do you personally cheer for other ACC teams in the bowls? ACC was dominate last and so far is 2-1. With the matchups this year, ACC is set to make another statement that we are one of the top conferences in football.

I personally pull for all ACC except the ******* noles. Its okay blackvern, we know you were happy they beat southern miss

Dont really care one way or the other.

But bowl game or whenever - anytime f$u, uf, o$u, or nd lose...it's a good day.

Playoffs I'm pulling for Oklahoma.

The only way I'm rooting for Clemson is if they play Alabama. In that case GEAUX TIGERS or whatever.

Otherwise I don't really care.

Umm, have you looked at who’s playing who in the playoffs by any chance??

I'm about the same--pull for ACC teams other than FSU in bowls.

Like it or not, the perceived strength or weakness of the ACC plays a role in determining rankings, and the conference bowl record is something people look at. So yeah, I want the ACC to do well against the $EC and B1G and so on. I wouldn't look at it so much as rooting for the other ACC teams as much as it is rooting for our own self-interest, and I'm cool with that.

For me it all depends. I really couldn't care less about conference prestige and how the other teams do, but living in the heart of Alabama/Auburn/SEC Country I sometimes do find myself cheering on the ACC teams in hopes they'll have a better W/L record than the SEC.

Exactly what I was going to say.

I don't particularly root for other ACC teams but I do realize the importance of perception and the role it plays in college football. For years, media and pollsters have given SEC teams the benefit of the doubt because of their perceived conference superiority. It would be nice for Miami to get some of that same benefit they give Alabama. You know, not even win your division but still get a playoff bid? Could you friggin' imagine if Miami didn't even win the Coastal but somehow still got invited to play in the CFB playoff? The power of perception.

All except FSU, *** those guys, but the rest are a necessary evil for the perceptions of the conference as stated above.

I don't know, but I'm tired of seeing these ****** **** QB's, like Benkert, carve us up like a roast beef, and then play freaking Navy and look like the second coming of DBC trying to keep a bear from taking his Subway sammich.

We were in a death struggle with this disgusting Virginia team. Can't explain that.

Seriously. How the heck were we losing to this Virginia team by 14 in the 3rd quarter.

Maybe we were lucky in several games leading up to Pitt. Perhaps Pitt, Clemson revealed that our team was not that good. Wisconsin game will reveal a lot about our team.

It is clear Virginia didn't prepare as they should have for Navy and when they showed-up to play the Canes they were a completely different team that was full of fire. Also, as you watch the game it is clear that Virginia does not want to be there most probably due to the freezing weather as those Navy MEN are MUCH tougher than most any team they play. Also, I guarantee you that during Spring practices and Fall practices Virginia devoted a goodly amount of time putting in prep for Miami.

Meh, you can't always take that much away from bowl games like this Military Bowl. You know that the Virginia players could give two craps about being in Annapolis in 20 degrees in December. This game is not something they've worked for and looked forward to. It's basically an imposition on them. For Navy, it's another home game and a chance to play on national TV in their Blue Angels uniforms one last time before they go off to potentially die for their country and never strap on the helmet and pads again. This game doesn't mean **** about how good or bad UVA is.

That said, they look like pure crap on a garbage pile today. They should be embarrassed.
