OT: Auburn and Malzhan

Its insane that he got a 32 million buyout. The guy is only a little north of .500 in conference play.

Auburn fans/ admin will never be satisfied while super saiyan Saban is In the same state..tbh they should be content because they are not, I repeat not annually gonna compete at the level of success as bama

While Malzahn is definitely an underachiever - why in the **** would he even consider that? Turn down $32 million guaranteed just to keep your job? ***** that, if they really want to make a change, then take the money and run.

Malzahn even considering signing that is insane to me. The only plausible explanation is that he is so afraid of the stigma that would be attached to him as a fired football coach.

So he waits another year for the Stigma of being a fire coach for less buyout money? Something is wrong here. Like you said, take the money and run for ArKansas.

Gus has to have the worst gig ever. Guy has to play bama LSU and Georgia every year and his fans expect greatness. He has beaten bama 2 times tho which is pretty good

Was the OC for their national title in 2010 and almost won another as a HC in 2013. Not his fault he annually plays one of the most difficult schedules in college football. I don't know how much better Auburn expects to perform.

Thats what I’m saying who does that’s fan base want to hire? I don’t think junk any hire will be better than gus honestly unless they get lucky on a hotshot young guy but they’re not spending 30 million on a buyout just to take a chance on a young guy that isn’t Lincoln Riley

According to Phillip Marshall of 247Sports.com, “Malzahn is on the verge of accepting a reduced buyout and other limitations to remain for his seventh season as Auburn’s head football coach.” Malzahn’s current contract calls for a buyout that’s a little north of $32 million; it’s unclear what the new buyout number would be.

I would say fire me and I will take that 32 million.

LMAO look at the history of Auburn football

They have 2 NC. One back in the 50's The other he was the OC and the main reason they won it. He also ahs played for another.

He is also 2-4 again Bama the last 6 years. Any other HC have 2 wins against Saban in the last 6 years?

Just spoke to my buddy whos an Auburn alum and he hates Malzahn ...would rather them fire him now and eat the buyout

The problem isn't bama, it's the other teams they lose to.
When I say the problem is good ole Saint Nick..I’m referring to the expectations..the only team in the SEC that dominates annually is bama..And the last 2 years UGA..but UGA plays in the weaker division so let’s just stick with leaders of the west:
LSU
Bama
Miss st
UA
Texas a&m

I think Texas a&m with jimbo is next uo to really challenge Saban out west. Texas A&M is a sleeping giant now that they in the SEC..that’s just MO
