Was always a good DC. Like many he lacked the flexibility to win as head coach here. Had he fired his buddy and brought in a better staff he might still be here. Probably not, but he is light years a better coach than Diaz was.

HIs life without Donodefense has been markedly better. Too bad for him that he didn't wipe off that hanger sooner.

Think it’s a little bit of both. But OSU have their own version of Thunder & Thunder. ND is ranked 5 for a reason. They’ll have a good yr, overall.

Not impressed with the ND offense. Passing game was not in the top 10, maybe not even in the top 25. The defense did the best it could for almost 3 quarters, but the offense gave no help.
