Oh, I guess Larry freaking Coker being coach had nothing to do with the collapse. You bring in a competent coach, and Miami most likely continues to roll, at least until the arms race really gets going and Miami starts to get priced out of their own home recruiting territory.

Mario crumbles when the pressure is on but give the guy some credit. All week they were talking about Auburn defense (NFL front 4, Kevin Steele, ect)Mario turned a soft uptempo finesse offense into a tough downhill team and punch Auburn in the mouth.He should have won the game but we should have won our game also. Im going to root for Mario because i root for all Canes from all the players in the NFL to the Cane coaches in all leagues.

Go be a mercenary at Bama and act like you learned from saban (though saban coaches defense, and you coached OL).

He can recruit though. And at a place like Oregon that is big....they probably dont have any pressure...with him they'll lose 3-4 games a year and be cool with it i guess.

Coaching in today’s college football is largely about 4 components. Recruiting, Player Development, x and o (scheme) and game day coaching. Ppl go get sabans assistants because they excel at recruiting. ALL of his assistants can recruit because they know the loopholes and how to play the bag game. Even pruitt and mario can recruit where they struggle is gameday and scheme development. Kirby is a prime example. All of the talent in the world and struggles on gameday. Its why mario probably didn’t want to come to UM he wasn't gonna be able to recruit in that manner.
