Oregon getting new, massive IPF

He gets a piece of the construction budget?
UO has a bottomless budget, that's the point of my post. If he is only looking at jobs in regards to which program can offer him a bottomless budget, then Miami is never going to compete with Nike money.

It'll likely be the best in the country, if not the world.

Their new track and field facility is the best in the world, not just the US.

They are spending big dollars for sure and when you read that's its being financed by donations, that doesn't bode well for trying to hire Mario out from under them.

They not even gonna want Mario no more soon. When you spend that kind of money, they not gone try to hear nothing about some bullsh*t losses

So pretty much all of this shlt is financed from donations, even coaches’ salaries. People here don’t get that. They think somehow it comes out of the general budget of the university. And they see something like Miami has $1 billion so why don’t they have enough money?

There is a threshold to meet, sure. But Mario comes from a program that dominated while having some of the worst facilities in the country. It was actually a source of pride among his generation of Canes.

Miami plays in an NFL stadium and has a more than adequate IPF and weight room. OR could build an amusement park and I don't think it would make much of a difference on the margin when he's considering his options. Money for staff and recruiting is another story.

There are things money can't buy, such as the Miami city life. And, all things being equal, I think that is a bigger draw to recruits than an extra 30,000 s/f of practice facility.

Can we get a big ferris wheel right in the center of campus like they have in London?? That would be dope.
