Fun fact, many Southerners moved to Southern and Eastern Oregon during the western migration in the late 1800s, early 1900s. Southern Oregon (Douglas County) used to be where the headquarters of the Klan on the west coast was located until the 1930s. So a lot of people in Oregon would be fine with the SEC.

I lived in S Oregon when I was a teenager. I saw lots of confederate flags on cars. They are still there, they just don't have the accent.
