How difficult will it be to get an orange pass and any guess on the price per game?

Gonna try individual tickets this year.

Just looking at the schedule, it shouldn't be too difficult. The problem is we lost a lot of parking due to the tennis complex.

My Orange lot season pass is listed at $135.00, which is roughly $20 to $25 per game. My guess would be $30 to $35 individual.

Much more difficult with the tennis courts and will be worse with the construction of the Dolphins practice facility. Last season, they offered season ticket holders first dibs but they were restricted on the amount and I remember a poster here saying he'd been an orange pass holder for many years but was denied.
It also seemed odd that there was supposedly a restriction, yet they ran out in a matter of days; while passes suddenly appeared on the secondary market at highly inflated prices.

I have four season tickets under one account and was only given the opportunity to buy one.

I was so lucky to be grandfathered in with my green lot pass. That alone will keep me renewing.

Nobody can predict with absolute certainty. However, passes sold out very quickly this year after the reduction due to the Tennis Center. Now the Dolphins practice facility will take out even more spots.

And, yes, there will be some Hard Rock c0cksuckers who will tell us how the stadium has reduced capacity and everyone Ubers and all kinds of other bullcrap. But the numerical reality is that supply is decreasing and demand remains strong (at least for tailgating spots.

However, I would also point out that I was able to use my SunPass to park in the big lot to the east of the stadium (whenever I sold my Orange Lot pass). Clearly, the tailgating is not as good over there, but maybe it will get better if more and more people are shut out of Orange.

If you want to buy Orange lot on a per-game basis, I'd imagine you're going to have to do so via the secondary market.

There's not nearly as many Orange passes as there used to be. I had to park in the Yellow lot this past season because they sold out of the Orange ones before I even had a chance to order one. The home schedule isn't great this year but if the team does well, the tickets will sell and the price of parking passes will go up exponentially. The only way you'll be able to buy Orange lot passes on a per game basis will be on the secondary market and unless the team is terrible and nobody is going to games, they will sell for double the face value easily.

From the plans I saw, the practice facility only affects the faraway yellow cash lots.

If you’re not one of those people that doesn’t annually renew their parking passes, and was used to the parking in the orange lots, that’s going to be tough.

If you’re interested in parking passes, best thing to do is jump online right when they go on sale. Better yet, talk to a ticket guy. I’m assuming you have season tickets. If you don’t, I doubt individual parking passes, unless it’s for the FCS opponents, will even be available through the school. It will probably have to be yellow lots, or paying a higher price in the secondary market.

This is what happens when we start getting higher attendance, with reduced parking

I have season tickets but I'm pretty low on the priority scale so I don't get access to things like parking passes or away game tickets right away. The orange lot season parking passes were literally sold out before I was even allowed to place an order. I attempted to buy one the first day my priority level was allowed to and they were already gone.

I believe you're the poster I remember in the thread. Didn't you have that pass for multiple years? Messed up man.

Yes, I had an orange lot pass for a few years. After the tennis stadium was built, they reshuffled the deck so you couldn't renew your parking pass with your season tickets. Higher priority Hurricane Club members (I have 4 lower endzone seats, I'm small potatoes) get first crack at parking. By the time I had the opportunity to place an order the only available passes were the maroon lot (way out of my price range) and the yellow cash lots. It's not terrible, The yellow lot is a further walk to the stadium but it's also easier to get out after the game.

I hear you on the cost but I think Maroon is only a little over a hundred more for the season. It's a premier lot, same as the old purple I had in '17; which included valet and easy access in and out. Although I think the valet is just for the suite package but I've never actually used it, so much easier to just drive down a lane or 2 and park. When I'm leaving, I don't want to wait!
Another reason it's so hard to give up my corner suite tickets, is definitely the parking. With the upgrade and/or elimination of the purple lot, I get the black lot included. Sounds like such a nightmare with parking now. Ross made great renovations but the tennis thing and practice facility is retarded. He can say there's less seats but it has been a ****show with traffic and parking, rent a cops and don't get me started on all the roads blocked!! It's a real circus if you don't know exactly how to get out of there to whatever route you take home. I've literally been driving an extra hour and a half in the past because of blocked access to the turnpike and blocked access to the road my hotel was on.

That's odd to me. I have four upper corner (340) and I was able to renew my green lot passes with my tickets last year (2018). I was also able to renew it with my tickets this year (2019).

you cant buy orange day of. they make you park in the cash or sun pass lots across the street

That sucks. I wonder how many season car passes are available in the inner lots. I also wonder what the car to fan ratio average is. My guess is that it’s between 2 and 3. In other words one car per every 2.7 season tickets sold. Just a guess. So assuming 2.7 is correct, and assuming approximately 50,000 season tickets sold, you would need (50,000÷2.7=) 18,500 parking spaces in the innner and outer lots. So I wonder how many total parking spaces there are
