Opportunity for King's stock to Rise

I think yall have seen, the Broncos are starting the first non-QB at QB since like 1955. Crazy.

Interestingly, Kendall Hinton is of the same skill-set and stature as D'Eriq King. Albeit, King, loads more accomplished than Hinton. Hinton did have 1000 receiving yards his senior year at WR for Wake Forest, so his ability in the slot is proven.

Most will cast this off as a pure emergency situation, but as for The Tin Foil Hat Boyz, Jon Elway is actually testing the rabbit-as-a-QB archetype. For the sake of King's draft stock, let's root for the jitterbug.

I see your point. He could give a team a lot of roster flexibility if he is your backup QB, slot receiver & kick returner. You could carry an extra defensive lineman to your rotation to keep guys fresh and lower injury attrition.
