It is kind of amazing how quickly our heroes become laughingstocks once they return to Miami, and I’m already sick of his catchphrases…

-we are basically inbreeding our way out of being competitive in modern college football by only being willing to hire former Miami players or coaches, and have been for years. we have zero diversity of thought and all they do is try to emulate what worked 30 years ago…guess what? It isn’t happening At this point. We hire a bunch of 50 year old coaches and advisors with Miami ties to bring back the 80’s and it’s about as sad as watching middle aged alums come back to talk about the good ole days in their letter jackets

-the worst part about it is Mario has zero financial incentive with his contract to change his ways and he’s surrounded by guys who think like him. I hope he changes the offense but I wouldn’t bet money on it. It “worked“ at Oregon after all.

-it is becoming apparent to me that a large portion of people on this site only watch Miami football and don’t watch other college games to understand that schemes are Just as important as talent, if not more.

-speaking of talent, does anyone disagree that we Should always prioritize Florida recruiting? didn’t think so. Why then are there always Factions of this fan base that always immediately jump to “its The players fault“ when we lose to a conference USA team with those highly rated Florida recruits. The same Florida recruits that seem to do well at better programs but not at Miami.

-I’m losing my mind with the continued short routes. 4th and goal at the 2 and we throw a 1 yd out that wouldn’t have scored even if it was caught

-we need to stop acting like our offense needs to worry about how it affects the defense…just ******* score. MT‘s defense was on the field for 75 plays through 3 quarters and still was stuffing us at the goal line. I don’t want to hear that crap about ball control to give our defense time to rest.

- if yesterday doesn’t prove that big plays are necessary and desirable in college football, I don’t Know what does. That is basically what beat us, yet our staff thinks ball control and long drives is still the best Way, even though we’re bad at it and aren’t disciplined enough to do it Consistently.

best pass play design ever? I knew gattis‘ offense was for cavemen but I didnt know anything because I’m just a fan and gattis has a broyles award Right? his Craving for credit and extra appreciation after leaving both bama and Michigan was also concerning because it just wreaked of insecurity and immaturity

I've said this many times and I agree. I think most on here only watch Miami games.

Frankly, I am not even sure many people involved with the program watch other games either.
