Miami could be on the verge of adding another major piece to its 2027 recruiting class.

According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction, four-star wide receiver Eli Woodard is now projected to commit to the Hurricanes as he prepares to announce his college decision on Tuesday. Miami is one of three finalists, alongside California Golden Bears and the UCLA Bruins



Woodard has become one of the most sought-after wide receivers still available in the 2027 class. After reopening his recruitment earlier this year, Miami quickly emerged as one of the biggest contenders, thanks in large part to a strong official visit and continued efforts from Mario Cristobal’s staff. The Hurricanes have been building momentum for weeks, with multiple recruiting analysts pointing to Miami as the team to beat.

Landing Woodard would be another significant recruiting victory for Cristobal, who has continued to stack elite talent at the wide receiver position. Woodard is regarded as one of California’s top playmakers.



The Hurricanes already have one of the nation’s top 2027 recruiting classes, and adding a prospect like Woodard would only strengthen their standing nationally. His commitment would also give Miami another marquee recruiting win outside the state of Florida, showing the program’s ability to recruit coast-to-coast. I was listening to the USA match and I heard the announcer explain that they do it to try and convince the referee to give out a yellow card but if the referee is that dumb he has no business officiating the match…

I've seen a lot of stuff not get called which is what'd rather see. I want to see refs give out more yellows for ******* floppers.
