After watching the Dolphins do a 180 over the past few weeks by getting to play for a guy they like, I'm fascinated to see what we look like on the field for the rest of the season.
1) What's going to happen with the defense? Larry Scott isn't going to let D'Onofrio just keep doing what he's doing, right? If he cans him, or at least minimizes his role, who calls the D? Hurlie Brown? Randy Melvin? Scheme-wise and personnel-wise, what changes?
2) Who's in charge of special teams? Any major changes? Burning redshirts to play special teams was one of Golden's worst moves, but what's done is done at this point. Hoping the next regime has a dedicated special teams coach. In the meantime, I wonder if we change any personnel.
3) I think Coley will still call plays on offense. But we have to figure out how to run the ball. The O-line has serious issues, as expected, but can we figure out how to run in spite of them? My guess is that we won't be in the pistol 100% of the time, but will that be enough? The Dolphins somehow figured out how to run it after the coaching change. Can we?
