Well, lets just win the next two games before we start looking at the Omaha schedule.
 
Would it be better/smarter to try to attend the early games-IF we get in-than it would be to hope for a deep run and try to go for the big games?

Smarter/safer to plan to attend the first two, which is what I'm doing. Otherwise, you may miss out entirely. It IS easier to get a more affordable hotel and tickets the deeper into the tournament though.

Go early and enjoy the atmosphere when all 8 teams are in town. Nothing like it. Then when we keep winning, just stay in Omaha.
 
I believe we are in the side that plays the 13th and 15th. Our side of the bracket's super regionals start a day earlier than the other side of the bracket.

Also, why is Arkansas hosting #8 national seed Missouri State?

went to college world series for the first time last year, it was awesome except the canes werent there. cant go this year fighting cancer but they should be there with this team. go canes
 
I highly encourage everyone to go. I went for a crazy 36 hour stretch in 2007? The canes played Oregon state and crushed them. Brutal rain storm ripped through the game but the canes were well ahead. There was a big boxing fight that evening so didn't make it back for the end of the game. As we walked out of the stadium in the crazy rain, my flip flops got suctioned into the mud and one of them tore into two. Had to walk half a mile barefoot.

During that trip, I arrived at the embassy suites at 1am and my room had been given away. They transferred me to a pretty crappy hotel. The next morning I was off to the early game (rice vs someone) and got a flat tire.

Was hectic but I'd do it all again

Unfortunately the canes bats were silenced by rice. I think Oregon state won it that year
