Bunch of soft-shouldered comments in this thread. The faqqotry going on in football nowadays is mind boggling.

Quarterbacks used to get killed in this league. Now, if they break a finger nail, it's a penalty on the opposing team's player and possible fine and suspension.


Grow some nuts, fellas. It's a contact sport. His job is to destroy the QB, not to play patty cake with him.

I know a lot of you have gotten used to Alfalfa's pussification of our program, but you all need to man up.

The league has gone soft... You would never see the top QB's in their late thirties playing the position back when the violence was celebrated.

They have taken the greatest American sport and pussified it. Totally despicable.

While they're at it, why don't they help the QB up and help him dust off after hitting him. Deacon Jones and "Mean" Joe Greene would have murked any of these fools.
