Ignorance. During Kehoe's last 2 years at UM he coached Ereck Flowers to being a 1st round pick, Jon Feliciano to a 4th round pick, and Brandon Linder to a 3rd round pick. How in the **** does that correlate to sucking? Searels hasn't developed anybody while he has been here. I'll take Kehoe right now.

You must have forgotten what our O-line looked like during Al Golden's last years here. Kehoe is past his prime and wouldn't be much better than Searels going forward. Again, what is with Canes fans wanting retread coaches that have come through here that are past their prime? Next you're going to tell me that Jimmy Johnson should step away from Fox and come back and coach.

Hope a Richt wises up and get rid of Searles ASAP....as much as people want to put it on playcalling, this is the real issue....he has fired OL coaches in the past

Kehoe sucks as a OL coach. 2001 team was good without him. Lazy at recruiting and not all that good, kids just loved him because how he treated them. GTFOOH

He was also doing a good job with McDermott & Darling. This was actually my 1st warning sign with Searels as both players regressed under him. Not that I endorse bringing back Kehoe, I'm not usually a fan of getting the gang back together, or reheated soup.

For all of Searles faults he is ten times the recruiter and evaluator of talent than Kehoe ever was.

I think he would be. I see players getting worse under Searels. His first line should have been fairly good.

It wasnt though, it was disorganized, sloppy, weak. Suppose they are figuring out a bit better towards the end, well the next year should have been very good.

They werent good, McDermott and Darling really regressed and werent even draftable. He also didnt recruit a single quality OT in either year. now we have a line full of guys that are a) not good enough b) out of position or c) freshmen. Searels has had the least results out of any coach.

lol@ those asking for Kehoe. Did you guys forget the Louisville bowl game?

In case you forgot, Miami had an NFL line that year (ones that he mostly didn't recruit) and looked like they didn't hadn't seen a standup defensive lineman rush the passer or LB blitz ever in their career.

I'm convinced some of you have to be Kehoe's agent.
