Oh Lawd. Stop The Fight

The biggest Thing Golden could do for himself is get 2 new coordinators.
He obviously can evaluate talent. The fact that some of these guys are performing we'll speaks to that. Some of the positional coaches are probably doing a good job with technique.
Get new coordinators and let them coach. In college a head coaches main responsibility should be getting the needed resources (coaches and players) and then make sure they perform up to a required standard. Stop the micro managing b.s. If they are solid coaches they should be able to install a system worthy of their hiring.

D'no and Coley don't have the imaginations to even coach at a top shelf high school. If I am wrong then Goldilocks needs to let them coach without his interference.

Many a great coordinator has made a lousy head coach. A good head coach needs to a good manager. Know your strengths and stick to them or
be gone.

That's awful, man. Take a knee and regroup. Uncle Franchise is giving you a standing 8 count.

I know the answer is probably "no" but do you think that revelations like this from "experts at a higher level" might make anyone at the university take another look at the whole situation? Maybe there are some supporters who maybe felt the talent was at a certain level...but now they see how these guys are exploding and NOW it hits them that the talent was much better than they thought??

I know...I'm grasping.

And even if some don't admit it from Blake James on up, stuff like this only makes the point further that Al has really fumbled.
No chance in ****. If anything, they think these kids performing well at camps is vindication of the job Goblin is doing.

Not when Clive Woford is saying that kids aren't buying into what the coaches are telling them. Dorsett, that there are some coaches he trusts. Chickillo that he played out of position and thanks for Coach Singletary for giving him a chance in the 4-3. To top it off you have Duke's mom saying that if many of the kids could leave withot penalty they would. We know they're cheap, but can they be that naive.

I'm dying when people say he's a good evaluator because of Duke, Flowers, Perryman (who Barrow had to beg for him to take), Dorsett etc. Its not hard to evaluate the best players in SFla, you see evaluation skills on the lower ranked kids. I give him props on Gunter, he was a good find. Unfortunately, he still wasn't put in the best position to show his skills.

Here are his eval skills on the lower ranked kids that were upper classmen:

2011: Junior Alexis, Hunter Wells, Thurston Armbrister, Corey King, Eddie Johnson, Thomas Finnie, Antonio Kinard, Olson Pierre, Gianni Paul, Ricardo Williams
2012: David Thompson, DeQuan Ivery, Jake O'Donnell, Gunter, Gabe Terry, Nate Dortch, Larry Hope, Danny Dillard, Vernon Davis, Antonio Crawford, D'Mauri Jones, Taylor Gadbois, Rashawn Jenkins, Jontavious Carter, Gray Crow, Preston Dewey, Jacoby Briscoe, Dwayne Hoilett,

That 2012 class which was suppose to be his gem was epically bad from an evaluation standpoint. 4 out of his 17 3* or lower kids contribute here (Crawford, Gunter, Gadbois, Jenkins). 11 of the 17 are no longer on the team.

In 2011, 4 out of 10 were players. However 2 of them got kicked out of school, Johnson and Paul. So 2 out of 10 3* and lower kids contributed here.

So essentially they hit of 6 out of 27 kids in 2 years. Not good.
