Ha.. I believe I've made my opinion on the matter perfectly clear. Over & over & over. He needs to be moved to an off field position at best. As much as I agree with you (& its 100%) its just not happening man.

No matter how much sense it makes, he won't be demoted, much less fired. I was told that both Richts are fully aware that Jon is in over his head. But that doesn't mean he's going anywhere.

So at this point we just need to hope he doesn't eventually move UP. Because he's NOT going anywhere.
 
The right thing to do is to move Little Jon to offensive analyst and hire Ken Dorsey as OC-QBC

Groom Dorsey to call plays in a couple years

Little Jon can learn coaching QBs from Ken

THEN try him again at QBC if a spot opens up (like Patke finds a job elsewhere or something—I’m not ****ting on Patke)

WTF negotiating a contract w RICHt that lets him groom his inexperienced child using our QB coaching position?!?!

It ain’t like RICHt doesn’t have connections to get his child a job somewhere else.

Oh wait. Never mind. HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE
 
QB Coach is the easiest pressure point

I implore you all to focus on this with your emails to BoT, tweets to @canesallaccess

It’s glaringly obvious. Both the resume and the results

This is exactly why you don’t allow nepotism like this

No disrespect to homie but Mork grooming Ken Dorsey is LOL I believed Ken coached with Chargers- position unknown and Panther as a QB coach

Yeah. You’re actually probably right

But Jon is the soft spot right now and Dorsey has an assistant ad job at fiu.

This is the immediate move. Dorsey becomes full OC in a year or two

Same with Brown. He should never have gotten the title of co-OC. I don't care if it's just a title, the guy has input in the playcalling especially the running game; he's basically learning on the job. Richt should have kept him as a RB but put him nowhere near the booth.

I agree we should fire JR.. that being said, we would still need a competent OC. Both would be ideal but if forced to choose, I would pick new OC.

Right. And to make room for OC-QB coach, get rid of the coach who either sucks *** or does nothing to begin with
 
Let’s see what Evan Shirreffs looks like as starter vs MTSU this weekend.

His position coach is Shane Montgomery

Montgomery has coached for over 20 years, including four years as head coach at Miami (Ohio), where he coached all-America and future Super Bowl champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He also coached 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame selection Terrell Owens.”

Evan went 5-7 a TD and 118 yards vs WKU off bench last week.

Exactly. Your OC is usually also the QBC

Dream hire would be Kendal Briles. That won’t happen IMHO bc RICHt won’t give up playcalling yet

Dorsey would be a massive upgrade over our fake QB and fake OC (Brown/Dugans). Keep Brown and Dugans as position coaches. Make Dugans associate HC. Must keep him
