Just received an email:

AdvoCare Classic Pregame Celebration | University of Miami Alumni Association

$125 adult / $70 kid
all you can eat buffet, all you can drink beer
....the announcement says it will be held in the Miller Lite Club. If true, this is the club under the seats on Miami's side where you can stand at field level with the players and the players will run out in the middle of this club to get to the field.

Yeah I saw that too. Its intriguing to say the least but $250 for the wife and I is pushing it. That's decent seats to another game this year. Trying to decide if its worth it. Guess I better loosen up the belt and start pounding some booze
 
All you have to do is drink 40 beers and you are coming out ahead. Seems pretty sweet.
 
Made that mistake before when I went to the Nebraska game. Food was awful and not enough time to make up for it on the beer side. It really wasnt worth it. Also 4-6 game starts at 630... Thats not a lot of time for $125
 
Man so much griping about $125 and all I hear is ALL YOU CAN DRINK BEER.

As a finance type, I'd say that's a sound investment decision.

or if you wanted to go craft, you can get about 12 IPA's or the like

I'll go Rainier over PBR (Washington state beer), but in fairness if it's a Miller Lite thing that's probably all they're serving. And I don't think I could drink Miller Lite fast enough to catch a buzz.

Hopefully they have funnels.

I'm glad all my drinking days are long behind me (nothing but the tail lights) and I got through it without any issues or DUI some real close calls though , couple of my friends didn't make it through as I did and paid so dearly meaning there family did still paying to this day.

I would have enjoyed those games so much more not being hammered being more concerned about where the next drink is coming from instead hearing someone saying hey you missed a huge play hoping the jumbo tron will replay it.

Just sharing for what it's worth if any.

If you were with in in Charlotte you know we can throw a party. CANES UNITED OFFICIAL MIAMI v. LSU TAILGATE……. FOOD AND PARKING.
Catering the food will be by Rudy's BBQ. Andrew’s wife is a native Texan and she threatened him with divorce if he chose anywhere else. Rudy’s will provide and excellent Texas BBQ experince. Rudy's will arrive on site with tables, plasticware, plates, napkins...basically everything we need, and they will set up, serve, and break down The menu is as follows:
Smoked Texas brisket,Sliced sausage,(One other meat, probably their smoked turkey breast)
Rudy's Beans/ Potato salad/Corn on the cob
Pickles, onions, jalapenos, bread, and Rudy's Sause
Tea (including ice, cups, lemons, sweeteners, etc.)
We need a minimum of 100 participants in order to get this menu for $15 per person. Please send your payments to one of the following:

FOOD WILL BE SERVED at 3PM Local time to allow everyone to get fed and ready to go in to the game by and before kickoff. This will be a ticketed catering event you will pick up your meal ticket upon arrival.

****PARKING**** is per car not per person.
Our official CanesUnited parking lot will be located at 1250 E Copeland road (a short and scenic walk to AT&T Stadium). This one is going to be awesome because we will be right in the middle of all the gameday atmosphere for a fraction of the cost! (This lot is currently 40$ on park whiz) Each space through us will be only $15!
This well-lit lot is adjacent to official AT&T Stadium lots and is patrolled by private security. It's a half mile walk to the stadium so, on busy event days, golf-cart shuttles and ped-cabs are available between the lot and stadiums for an additional fee. After the event, this lot has quick access to I-30 via the north exit.
