Touchdown not field goals. That played a big difference in yesterdays game.
Hope richt learns that we have to throw in the end zone more when we are on the goal line. We had success with it today. Don’t keep trying to force a touchdown by running up the middle when we aren’t a good short yardage blocking team. We didn’t have many bad offensive play calls this game. I i thought the 3rd and short formation where we brought in the walk-on full back was terrible. Play calls were there, malik missed berrios for a for sure touchdown over the middle early in the game, richards was open in the middle of the field too that would have been a td but the line broke down and Malik took a sack. Will say that malik has to know he can’t throw that ball to the flats if a defender is breaking on the ball like that and If the receivers don’t get a good block on them. That was dangerous

Redzone O since the ND game has been spectacular.

We added QB draws, and we don't run 2 or 3 times into a pile. Richt is getting the most out of this offense and OL in the redzone.

We’ve been trying to throw it into the end zone all year. Truthfully we’ve been trying everything. That difference yesterday was Malik actually threw a ball that was catchable in those spots.

We can utilize other strategies in the RZ. We showed a little bit of DJ in the wildcat against ND. I suspect we will see more of that.

Good point. The passes to Cager and Richards inbthw redzone were nothing new. Like you said, Rosier just threw perfect balls.

The QB draw is the new wrinkle that we premiered against VT (and then ND and UVA).

It's working like a charm in the redzone. Props to staff for making the necessary adjustments to squeeze everything out of this offensive group that has no depth, and very little experience together.

The QB draw is the new wrinkle that we saw against VT for pretty much the first time.

It’s nothing new for the last 3 games but we struggled with doing so prior to that ga tech, Syracuse, unc games which were close because of our inability to score touchdowns in the redzone.

Team knows how to win and is teaching Mark how too. He taught them how to be calm. Everyone is getting better and better while in the meantime staying undefeated and crushing our rivals and exorcising demons. Fantastic year - 1983 all over again. Mark left to early to enjoy that so it is good for him to get this.

My biggest question with the play calling was not a single RB screen was called against UVA’s blitzing Defense; total head scratcher.

Richt trying to get cute again with his "if they don't stop it lets go right back to it" schtick. He does realize teams watch film right? Everyone in the stadium knew he was going right back to the fire pass after that completion. Dropped pick 6. Lucky ****.

That's worked for us all year. Nothing wrong with going right back to something that worked.

Cager missed the block. If he would've even gotten in the way the guy misses the play completely.

**** happens. Other teams are playing hard too ya know?

I understand Richt's desire to pound it in inside the 5 and you really have to be able to do so, but we don't have a move guys off the line OL. The QB draw has been a key call inside the 10. Malik misses too many passes that should be automatic. If he makes those our offense would be explosive.

Richt mentioned in his post-game interview that this is the first time he's been 10-0 (and last week was the first time he was 9-0) as a HC.

He's got to be feeling good about the Miami decision with this being only his 2nd year here.

Things are looking good for him to get to a couple championships during his tenure here - and hopefully win them.

Actually the difference was we put big wr instead of 5'10 guys.

About the playcalling in general . Coach is a slow learner remember last year how long it took him to change but....he did it. This year well he really didn't like Rosier and it took him a while to trust him running with it. Now IMO the coach has been saving it for Clemson. We got a peek first quarter against ND but that was it. We have tons of motion plays that neither the fans or Clemson will have on tape. Lets face it we are NOT gonna beat them with our 3 set offense just mano on mano we will out execute the defending national champs. Nope no way.

This is where I believe we have a real chance and I truly believe I'm right on this one.

About the Redzone. Get the smurfs the **** out of the game and line up Langford,Cager and Richards. Throw the fade 3 times

Yeap. As Howard said, the only reason Miami had not won a NC was never having a decent coach. Mark is certainly good enough to win a couple here.

The red zone offense has been pretty **** effective since the VT game. Granted, it has not been pretty or overwhelming, but aside for that stupid first drive against the Hokies we are doing a much better job of scoring touchdowns when we get close.
