Just re-watch the game and I saw like 10 holds that was not called, like I mean jerseys getting pulled on some plays in plain view of the ump. My canes must be the most held team in NCAA..

I'm sorry but if that Ump did not see the , man.. Tell Willy to send this one to ACC office as well.

We are without a doubt held more than any other DL I’ve seen this season, and the last few too. Just look at the speed we possess on the edge and now up the middle with GW9. There’s no way in **** theyre not being held especially on passing downs. Just makes the fact that we’re up there as far as tops in sacks, TFL’s and pressures just goes to show you what more they could be getting if they weren’t being held so much. Maybe the refs are like, “well they’ll just get the QB on the next play so I’ll let it go this one” type mentality? Because it makes entirely no sense why it’s not being called.

CaneDog66 Look at the picture I posted.

Don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing but is surprising how few offensive holding penalties have been called against Miami. Maybe the defenders get by them so fast it is too late to hold. :)

crazy part to me is its just accepted. even with media. it's known you can hold the crap out of us and get away with it.

Joe Jackson gets held almost every play, and it's so blatant
Go back and look at the LSU game.
Its ridiculous how the refs blatantly ignore Joe Jackson being held. On one play the tackle bearhugged Jackson and Johnson coming off the edge.

Willis, Garvin, Jackson, and Patchan are held numerous times a game and its obviously not called.

If you ever listen to off campus with Mark Packer on Sirius XM college sports station, he talks to DaboDaboDoo every week and they had an active count of snaps without a holding call against their D-Line. Last I heard, it was in the 300s. So it seems as though maybe it is an ACC thing? Maybe the refs are also less likely to call holding when the offensive lines are just clearly getting dominated.

And the thing is, imagine if they were never held. Teams couldn’t put up 10 points against us. These 4 guys are one of the top groups in the nation.

I have watched a lot of games this year and OL holding is rarely called, even against us. Majority of our penalties are procedure , personal fouls and illegal blocks during returns.. Why they seldom call it I have no clue. Just the way it is.. Seems like some teams take advantage more than others.

Its just a continuation from the no calls last year. in 2 years we will probably end up with like 10 holding calls against opposing offenses

Shaq was held on the run up the middle, they showed the replay from another angle (ref could clearly see it) no call...
