I am not sure which guy on YouTube has everyone going crazy but I see people saying they have an inside source to a meeting the board had with Richt. If you believe that a group of people assembled got in a room and talked to Richt directly and forced him to hire someone then your crazy. The athletic director may talk to Richt himself an discuss some things but no way a whole board room is doing this.

Richt has been doing this for 30 plus years. Has trained Matt Stafford, Chris Weinke, Charlie Ward and some other good quarterbacks. If you don`t think Al Golden had to hire a defensive coordinator after 5 horrible defensive years do you honestly think they are mandating something to Richt with his Resume and what improvement the program has done in 3 years. We want championship and nothing less but everyone please calm down.

I believe Richt will do whats right and change some things but lets not make up stories just for clicks.

Al Grohlden wasn't getting paid 4 million per year.
 
What that guy said. No fvckin way the BoT met with Mork Rich. lulz anyone who thinks that is 100% ***aloon.
 
Yea Julio and Blake cornered Mork and used their vast football knowledge to convince him that he wasn’t running an effective offense.
 
We the #1 defense in the country and are unranked because of how awful Rick is at offense. Rick makes 4 million per year. He gave 1 million for the IPF.

Golden made 2 million per year. The school could have kept Golden on at his salary, put 1 million towards the IPF, then STILL have a 1 million surplus for hiring an elite DC.

Three parts of the game. In year 3 Golden was better in 2 out of 3 areas- and this is while the program was absolutely being crushed by the NCAA investigation.

Those Qb's you mentioned were 13 years ago. What has he done besides getting forced out of UGA? Everything football related is based on what he did in the past. Nothing new from him since.
 
I heard even if Mark Richt hired an OC he would still call plays! So that means 2 things! #1- if that's the case, Mark will just fill the position to just shut people up about getting a OC! #2- The OC will only be a scrub coach to go for that because a real top notch OC wouldn't let Richt ***** over his offense especially with Richt's tract record to date!!

If your're looking for a meaningful change with the offense you might as well keep waiting especially if it's going to be another Yes Man!

People criticize Miami for being cheap. That is absolutely not the problem. Miami was cheap and won 5 championships. The problem is Miami chose the wrong coaches when they went cheap. Butch Davis makes 900k at FIU. 900K! Let's assume Miami had hired him for 1.5 million. Then the school put 1 million towards IPF. That would leave $ 1.5 MILLION for Davis to hire an elite staff (on top of what the staff is currently making). Imagine the staff Davis could hire with that much extra money. Miami would be a juggernaut right now.
 
what occurred with golden is irrelevant, but note that he was hired bc Shalala knew we were going to get hammered and she hired arguable a good person to deal with the PR mess, but not a good football coach. He was kept on in large part to handle the ncaa investigation, so they weren't going to push him to do anything radical.
